I have a before and after set of timeslips. I'm wondering what area of my engines power curve I need to look at to get some better results and anything things you guys think looks suspect.

Before is everything I have in my profile @ 6psi.
This setup had alot of wheel hop with TCS off.

60' - 2.199
330 - 5.998
1/8 - 9.127
@ - 78.01 mph
1000- 11.834
1/4 - 14.313
@ - 93.67 mph

After is the same setup, plus torque arm and LCAs for traction and the FMU was removed and the computer is doing everything for the fuel, as well as a hand-smoothed spark table. Although, I still don't think these launches were very good since the track prep was bad.

60' - 2.163
330 - 5.977
1/8 - 9.124
@ - 77.85 mph
1000- 11.838
1/4 - 14.258
@ - 99.35 mph

Seems like everything but trap speed is similar.
What do you guys think?

The trap is much better, but the slips are almost identical, it doesnt seem to make much sense.

You definitely need to work on that launch.

it looks like the car is struggling for grip off teh line. with 99+ through teh traps you shoudl easily be capable of low 1.8 short times.
what kind of tire pressures are you running?
what is your pinion angle set at?
did you get control arm relo brackets? if not i would suggest them.
i would get the front tires up to 50-55psi and unhook the front sway bar next time you are at the track. the higher pressure will help the car get rolling easier and removing the front sway bar helps promote weight transfer.

good luck

Obviously your making a bunch more power trapping at 99mph through the auto...I would look into getting some decent tires now and a converter matched to your powerband. How much timing is in it currently and what is your a/f like?
