Couple 175 shot runs

so i went and hung out with 315 today..cool guy..it was a fun time..even though he drove out for LVD to chanrge him for 2 runs..bastards..anyways..so i decided to run the 175 shot..i lovered the AFR a little and took my first run..i f*cked up the launch and still ran a 1.9 60' and 13.1 @ 104..however..i forgot to turn my pump on! ..i've gotta move the switch to make sure that doesnt happen again..took my second run with the pump on..got a great launch..and my speedometer read 4 - 5 mph faster at the finish than it did the first run..i was POSITIVE it was a 12 second run..but the f*ckin computers shut down during our run! ..so neither me or Gabe (315) knew how we did..it SUCKED..but im pretty positive i have a consistant 12 second V6..i want to take a couple more runs on the 175 shot and then see what i can do with the 150

what are you attempting to command for an a/f? with that big of a shot I'd be commanding like 10.5:1 and hoping you'll be seeing 11:1 in actuality. I'd just hate to see you toast this motor.

you should be running LOW 12's with that ridiculous amount of nitrous running through your car.

But, It's nice to see that the 3800 can take that kind of abuse!

a little off topic, but when i upload the pics to my pc i'll have to e-mail them to you and post 'em on the board. And i really wish you had ran that boosted CRX. That would have been a good race. And i wish that computer was working for our last run... mine was so much better than my horrid first run. (first run, first time at a track EVER, for me)

Don't you think that if your running a 175 shot and your still not getting past 13's, that there might be something your missing, something that money can't fix? Good luck though :D

thanks!..its just tuning..like i said..im positive that last run was a 12 second run..im pretty sure if i keep going and tuning i could get mid 12s

In all honesty nothing against you personally, but if you do happen to blow your engine after ALL the advise you've been given AND hitting your goal of 12s I'm just going to laugh.

well after seeing how much lowering the AFR did for me im going to drop it to the 150 shot..lower the AFR a little more..and run 100 race fuel..i may go out wednesday night to see what it can do :D

You may have jets for 175.... but it is not a 175 shot.
