thanks guys..yeah..i mean im not too concerned about the warranty..it would be nice..but if there is internal damage i can still afford to repair it..but it seems to just be the head gasket for now..i have every symptom of it but none of anything else..i did everything i could do..timing, fuel/AFR, logging, forged components..guess i shoulda done the seals cuz if they dont hold up it doesnt mean sh*t! ..i think with all my medical stuff going on now im gonna have to call it quits as far as racing for a while :( ..with all this crap i shouldnt have even gone saturday

The 2 head gaskets are totally seperate, so that's not all that unlikely. Sounding like it blew around #6, so you're getting water in there causing the missfire.

If you pay to have the repairs done, it's not gonna be cheap. Will probably cost around $1000, depending on the deal you get.

well it looks like 98Camaro3.8 nailed it so far..i looked at the engine and noticed a pool of fluid on the engine right near the injector for cylinder 6..i stuck some paper towels down there to soak some up and so i could also smell it..it was just water

i spoke to the garage and am bringing it there today..ot looks like everything will be covered except for any labor over the book rate..but i dunno..we'll see..its exactly NOT what i needed now

Don't worry Scott. I would just see this as an opportunity to improve the engine.

That's exactly what I would do if I blow my engine. Or, if I end up with a high mileage.

that's what i was thinking. throw some mls head gaskets in there, and some other goodies, you'll be all set for another good while

after they figure out whats wrong i'll probably go with the mls gaskets..i really wanted to do heads/cam but i just dont have the money..this is pretty much all being covered
