Why are you on this site if you're not here to encourage our members? The 3.8 is an awesome motor with PLENTY OF POTENTIAL. [/QUOTE]neon driver, what did you expect?
I've never been to the track but I've beaten 2 LS1. One stock new(paper filter and everything) one with exhaust and intake.
I've driven 5 LS1, 6 LT1, 1 LT5 (ZR1), numerous TPI, 1 454, 1 455 and to tell you the truth. We are not that bad.
Very possible for us to beat any of these cars with the proper.
As far as airflow is concern, that is not true. We have a much better airflow than a stock Grand National. Just checkout Hemming's Perf. March 2002 on the history of Buicks 3.8. A lot of potentials for our engine.
Fastest L36 is 11.2 with 14 psi of Paxton boost. Fastest L36 NA is 12.7.
Uh oh, better not tell Little G that... did you hear that Craig? I thought he had the fastest NA L36 fbod. Where is the info on this car Thor?? Actually where did you find the info on both cars??

Red 1998 Camaro 3.8
K&N and Home Depot
2 12\" JL W3v2 Subwoofers
-more audio stuff to come-
I met him at the track over near me a few years ago when his white convertable was running 12.5's. That car was built by Pontiac's "Performance Team" and had a badge on the inside of the windshied to indicate that. He said it had extensive internal work done and it was pretty much gutted but was built specifically by Pontiac to race in Super Stock. (why the hell couldn't they do that for their customers?) The motor didn't even have an intake on it. It was just a bare bones-looking block. I can't remember the details on it though.. I do remember that he had a speech impediment and it was difficult to understand what he was saying, so I didn't pry too much. I remember him saying that he wished he were racing a V8 instead of the 6. Do you have the link to the black one doing 11.8? I know it did 11.9 or something like that. Is that one an L36 too or is it a swapped Buick motor? BTW, Thor, sent you an email...
This was awhile back. I believe I either saw it at the NHRA rooster or IHRA when he did 11.8 NA with the L36.
I think this was the same time he debunk James Article on Pontiac Magazine for being the fastest V6 F-body.
He's been quoted as the most innovative racer. Sorry to hear him say that he would rather be racing in a V8. Isn't that the pits though. Just when these Hardcore are doing excellent with the V6 they go for a V8.
Maybe that's why we haven't heard anything from him lately, he's gone V8. He's not getting the attention anymore like he did with the V6.

Craig claims to have the fastest stock motor N/A v6 4th gen F-body. Everyone that we know of faster than him has heads, cam, or other internal engine work, and he's never had the valve covers off of his....
