    well the day didnt go as planned started bad, my cousin was suposed to go and tape with me he didnt go. so im like fine i go to get my tires installed THEY WERENT IN. i was p/o'ed they called everywhere which was what theys houlda done, and i had the opt to go drive 1 hr in traffic and 1hr back in traffic and borrow the managers drag radials for the evening i said ill wait till tomoro cuz then its another hr to get the the damn track. so i just went to the track, i get close by it starts sprinkling then it was kinda pooring so im like good hting i aint got slicks on lol. and it sux cuz i dont have whipers. but that rain didnt last long. i get through it im like u know what everyoens gunna be cruising woodward right now and not at the track and thent he rain would even deter them more. needless tos ay they were packed.
    i get there at 7. i park int he staging lanes after going trhough tech, omg it was so easy pass last night, i just filled the form out and handed and he signed and let me go i was like dont u wanna make sure nothigns loose hes like its fine go ahead. i went. straight to the staging lanes wehre i was car number 4 in my lane
    i was like awesome. and we were moving then we stopped they let the slicks go. guy in a old roadrunner blows his motor rod shoots throughthe oil pan Oil everwhere. everywhere, took em 30 min to clean up. and respray the track down. so we start goin the let the bikes go.
    its 8pm now
    guyd umps his bike at the 60ft, took em 20 min to clean that up.

    then they let the tubbed vehicles go guy with an older mach 1 heads down he friggen goes allt hew ay he runs a low 9 at 145 and doesnt let off the gas, no brakes no chute opened. all u hear is the engine still working , he hits the sand then from there the fence, took an hour toc lean up. so needless to say my car sat in the staging lanes for 2 hrs, i got my One whole run in at 9:15, engine was ice cold, so left fans off, i switched the switch up to turn em off. and i did one hell of a burnout. with my streets at 25psi in the rear and 45 in the front. i decided to launch it low so at 800rpm i launch it and i dont touch the gas till i get after hte 60ft i babbied it. i spun off the line a bit then i hooked and i hit it hard i hit second after bouncing the limmiter twice, and the rear slid hard right and almost clipped the wall i had to let off to regain it i got it back hit third same **** happened.

    needless to say.

    not to bad for small street tires 245 50 16 nitto 455 EP
    but i couldnt hook in the shifts if i tried it was horrible i serihosuly almost got the wall going into second it just went so hard to the right whent he tires broke it was intense.
    the equivilant run to that with the DR's would be around 12.6 with a decent launch at 114-115 maybe even low 12's depending on if i can hook ont he launch and get into second and even third wihtout spinning.

      if you hook with Slicks your ET will drop...yes, but that MPH will not magically shoot up to 114-115mph. It'll stay at 109 or maybe drop to 107/108. Trust me.

      Anyways that's some nice times what do you have done? Engine swap you say...what's in there LS1? :cool:

          i know im lazy when it comes to typing on forums. neway ive got a gen I sbc 350 .040 over completely worked bottom end forged, cept crank. carb'ed th350 trans 3.42 lsd rear end, stock stall converter locks at around 1100-1300 i never paid to much attention cuz i cant launch that high. the mph will go to where it should be as i will be able to actually touch the gas in the 60ft i ended up at 3/4 gass when i passed the 60ft mark with tons of spin and i had to let off to bring the rear back thing shifts like a monster. im ticked that my tires didnt get in again two time im promised they will be in and they were "shipped" but they have no idea where to lol wtf is that crap.

          im goign back tomoro hopefully 12.8 on streets if my tires dont come in
          plus im not going to have the tools in the car this time or the spare parts and ill have the timing at 18 or 19 where it should be at idle not 14-16 where i had it last night i didnt pull the gun out when i messed with it i idid it by ear and i kinda missed a bit as i can still feel it stutter just a bit from idle to accel
          ive got 520 on the crank.
