that was my best run out of 9 total runs. i was reving up to right around 2k when i launched (i have an automatic) sometimes a little bit over.. i was avoiding the water pit for burnouts too, etc. weather was good. tempature was upper 70's, low 80's with about 50% humidity. i was really hoping for 14's. but oh well. maybe in a month or two. what can you guys tell me as far as a "slip analysis"? thanks for looking!

when i went the 15.7 all i had was intake, headers, and hiflowcat with stock catback.

so dropping as much as i did was expected, just wish it was more!

What date and about what time did you race? Low 80s would raise the DA a good bit. If I know when you raced, I'll calculate the DA for you.

                        Low 80s?? Try mid 60s!

The temp difference between 80 and 66 makes for a much lower DA. You were at 883' density altitude, which is hardly worth noting. It might correct a 15.164 to a 15.0, and even that may be a little too far.

Fayetteville Motorsports Park is right next to Fayetteville Regional Airport according to mapquest.

Here's the National Weather Service history of the airport: http://www.erh.noaa.gov/data/obhistory/KFAY.html

I really doubt there's a 10°-15°F difference across the street from the airport where the temp was measured.

It's possible they were getting their info from Fort Bragg. If you go to the National Weather Service website and go to Fayetteville, NC, you'll get weather info from Fort Bragg. Their sensors weren't working today, and showed the temps from 2 days ago, which were much higher. Those temps mach what you said, though. http://www.erh.noaa.gov/data/obhistory/KFBG.html
