  • First Time at Track Let me know what ya think. (1/8th)

My best run of the night was

    R/T-.520
    60'- 2.319
    330-6.808
    1/8th- 10.624
    MPH- 64.70

That was my very last run of the night. My best reaction time of the night was a .502 I had a blast at the track its soooo addicting. I just had to keep running. I ran my car around 10 times.

I beat my friends Z71 1998 single cab once and couldnt beat the 2004 Quad Cab Hemi. The weird thing is the Hemi couldnt beat the Z71. It came down to reaction times. It was all of our first times at track. Tree took a little time to get used to.

    I also beat a Honda accord. I ran a 10.74 and the accord ran a 11.06 I red lighted tho with a .449

I couldnt find any other v6 fbodies or mustangs at the track. It seemed to either be all 8 cyclinders or 4 cyclinders.

Let me know what u can analyze about the time i posted. Like i said that was the best i could squeeze out the 3.4l tonight. I took my subwoofer out. That was only weight reduction i did. I also had a full tank of gas. How much of my et would be cut down with say a 1/4 tank of gas? My car got stronger as night went on. When i got there i was running 10.8's then by last run i was hitting 10.624

Liquid weighs around 8 pounds per gallon, so if you only had ¼ tank of gas you'd be about a 100 pounds lighter, which should be roughly .1 quicker. Your times most likely got better as the air got cooler (and denser) later in the evening.

Your time looks about right for a 3.4 with just intake and muffler. I ran from 10.3 to 10.6 with the same + LSD. Just so you know, with a 10.6 in the eighth you're around 16.4 - 16.5 in the quarter.
