What have you changed since last time out when you got the lower times? You didn't happen to put on some 18" chrome wheels did you?1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

all in all i have msd aftermarket coilpacks msd wires ac delco iridium plugs full exhaust including headers cool air intake shift kit running same gears been running nothing but 93 octane stock 16's same size rubber 245 50 16 and since i have last been out i have just recently added the msd coilpacks wires and plugs the temp that night was beautiful 57 with the humidity at 48 with a nice cool wind out of the north at 5-10 mph and and the way the track faces that would have pushed me instead of hurt me and then when i tried to spin the tires nothin changed them out to 205 50 15 and still nothing no service engine light i am almost wondering if there is a problem in my valvetrain and suggestions

Well, 14.8 with basically just intake and exhaust is good. I see lots of 3.8's run low 15's with those mods. Still, you're right, that doesn't explain a low 16 second time, especially with those speeds. Were these runs at the same track?1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

Ok.... please add spaces here and there... it makes things MUCH easier to read.
So.. consistent high 14 sec car went to low 16's now.
MPH remianed constant
What were the 60;s on the high 14's vs low 16's?
I'm guessing traction issues.... but I do not know... give us more infoRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

running the same track the 60' time on the 16.2
is 2.2384 and the 14.8 60' time is 2.2107 and
there are no exhaust leaks had to get my car
checked with emisions so good on that and as far
as temp pretty close to the same when i race
maybe 1-2* difference so i have no clue any more
info you need let me know so i can get as much
help as possible.

You've got nearly the same 60' time and the same trap speed, but almost a second and a half apart? That seems impossible.
Is your tranny shifting right?1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

id like to see the two slips posted ie
60'
330'
1/8th time
1/8th mph
1000'
1/4 time
1/4 mph
so we can see where your loosing so much time...i doubt its an engine problem...i would assume tranny problem if its an auto or driver error if its a manual or slipping clutch.00 GTP
98 Camaro v6
See, told ya I\'d be rockin another 4th gen :D
V6 & V8 tuning available at http://mysite.verizon.net/whenn1/
