I'm in the exact same spot you are. I'm gonna try to install the shift kit today and run her again tomorrow. I'll let you know what it does for me (not expecting much though). You could try the eric mod and remove your belt if you havent tried that yet.

Well i ended up fixing my exhaust rattle today instead but hey i got something done at least. If you do decide to do the belt mod i highly suggest you watch that temp guage, it wont do you any good if you run a great time only to have a dead car at the end of the track. I have done it once and ended up 3/4 of the way to the top of the guage (hotter than i wanted but not terrible). Just wanted to remind you that it is a dangerous mod.

Try putting a bag of ice on top of the intake when you go to the track and keep it on there when you run it. I bet you'll break into the 14's with that, trust me.

fwiw I don't run the car with the belt off unless its below the 1/4 mark.

I run fine, with hpt, only goes from 130ish, to 165ish. I assume its slightly inaacurate and may be in the 180-200 range but still safew imo... since on the roads stock thermostat stock fan settings my car got has high as 220 at times.

Pull off your sway bar if you havent already. Put on a 49.5 inch belt to only run your alt and water pump. That for sure will get you a 14.8 or so.

Re-Read and saw you already pulled your sway bar. Well your 60's are really good. If your not spinning you might try to raise tire pressure in the back. Easier to turn a aired up tire at high speeds. And that may get you a 14 if you can do that without spinning. And air up your fronts some more.
