    I run 16 X 8 salad shooter rims
26 X 10.5 mickey thompson et street tire.

For a tire that is driven on the street and for a weekend drag racer, I'd go with BF goodrcih 255 50 16's on 16 x 8 salad shooters.

If you want a dedicated track tire with short springs on the street then mickey thompson et streets or mickey thompson et drag radials.

I have not used mickey thompson drag radials but only heard good things

Thanx for all the input....Someone responded to a post i made earlier and said that with all my mods in the sig I should be hitting well below a 14.5 even if it is on the G-tech. Keep in mind that those chrome Z06 rims I used were like 50 some odd pounds per plus tires. What do u guys think is possible with an ideal set of drag tires on salad shooters?

              Mickey Thompson ET Drag, 28 x 10.5 x 15

those will also not fit on the stock 16" rims those are alos not Drag Raidal

                those are slicks

                yes there is huge differance...

the ET streets need tubes and scerws.
the Railds are just like street raidal only they are alot better for DD

i'm doing jsut fine oon the Drags and i dont see any reason for any one to spend the extra money for the ET streets unless they must have 1.4 and under 60 foot time

                  Wait a minute everybody!!

ET Drag series tires are a DRAG STRIP ONLY tire. They are a tube-type DRAG tire that DOES NOT meet DOT requirements.

ET Street series tires are based off of the ET Drags, but are made to meet DOT requirements (purely for qualifying in a street tire drag racing class and are not intended for street use). They have stiffer sidewalls, a harder rubber compound, and two pathetic excuses for tread grooves. For future reference, ET streets do not require tubes or screws. Tubes are not necessary at all, screws are only necessary if you're having problems spinning the tire on the rim, which most likely won't happen with ET streets.

ET Street Radials are the Mickey Thompson drag radial series of tires. They are intended for street/strip use.

DO NOT BUY ET DRAGS and expect to get a drag radial. You will get a pure drag tire. Buy the ET Street RADIALS if you are looking for a drag radial!!! I hope I'm not too late here...

Get the Mickey Thompson Street Radials.

ET Streets are DANGEROUS on the street without tubes.

I run Street Radials everyday even in winter. They are good in the snow believe it or not. With my skinnies and SR's my car does much better than my mom's Z28 with stock 245 Toyo Proxie's.

Why it does? Hell if I know, but it doesnt have much poblems spinning or stopping with my tires. I always put two tubes of 60lb sand in the back behind the rear seats as well in the snow.

They dont wear to bad at all. I've had mine a couple months now and they havent lost much tread.

As I said earlier, ET Streets are not designed to run with tubes. Tubes are absolutely unnecessary with ET Streets. ET Drags on the other hand, are designed to run with tubes.
