ive never lost to another v6 mustang either tho...

ive never races a 94-98
beat all 99-04's ive raced
and i beat a auto 06 from a 70mph roll (probally couldnt from a stop)

raced a auto 04 today and gave the kid a 1/2 second head start and past him in 2nd gear...

and a 04 auto w/ bolt ons and a chip

(i think all were autos)

Chalk it up to racing autos and bad drivers.

I never lost a race to a V6 mustang when I had my camaro, and I raced lots of mustangs. Why don't you guys just race instead of this "who would" crap.

hey im not tyring to start anything ok im just saying you know chevy underrated the hp of there cars.. and im telling you my car did dyno in the 190's may not have been 198 exact but it did my friends boniville ssei supercharged stock dynoed a little over 200hp and i barley beat him barley yes my car is weights less but still the power difference between our cars is not that much and when he was at uti a ethere 99-00 v8 stang dynoed liss than 200 at the wheels they are overrated and have bad power loss in the drive train im just letting you know i have betten v8 stangs and im trying to put some facts down sorry if there was any miss understandings

Dude, you are NOT dynoing 200RWHP, or even 190RWHP with just an intake. Trust me, it's impossible. The only way I could see any V6 dyno that much is with full boltons, ported TB, ported heads, and a tune. Like I said post your dyno, because what you're saying is [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img]

And mustangs are NOT over rated. They are not under rated. They are rated at 260HP at the flywheel. They put about 230HP at the wheels, that's right with drivetrain loss.

Now if it was a 98 or older, then I would believe the 190RWHP.

And the only engine GM really under-rated was the LS1. They're right on the money with the 3.8 Most stock V6's dyno about 170. An intake will NOT give you 30 HP.

And the supercharged boneville is rated at about 240BHP which is about right for his dyno. The reason you probably beat him is because you get a better launch RWD>FWD.

I don't doubt that you've beaten turd style GTs before.

Hey speedemon I was wondering since the 97s have a different intake setup then 98+, do you have a link to a dyno comparing the two? I was wondering if the straight tb gives you any hp, because I suspected they did it just so the filter was more accesible.
