Those are more of a road course tire, I wouldn't recommend driving those on the street. You're supposed to heat cycle those and a highway trip of 50 miles they would probably overheat.
If you want a drag radial use the BFGoodrich or Mickey Thompson or Nitto radials, these are all okay to drive on the street.

The tires you provided in the link are a road race tire, don't get them.
Now, for a drag radial to be driven on the street.... what is the streetability of them?
My experience:
nitto 245 50 16's
GREAT all around tire. Incredible in the wet. I drove from jersey to vermont and back and even maryland. They need more of a burn out to get sticky though.
I got 12,000 miles out of them and 2 seasons
BF goodrcih 255 50 16
Softer than nitto's. kicks up more rocks etc on the street. Less burn out needed. Not as good in the rain. Got 6,000 miles out of them. I am pushing a 2nd season on them.
mickey thompson et streets (not drag radials).
26 X 10.5 X 16 with no tubes.
Driven back and forth to e town and back. Bad in rain, no grooves. Decent tire, more a track only... but can be driven on the street.
