Is there a website or something that has a place to look up local events. I live in OKC/Norman,OK area and have passed by some events but dont know how to get any info on them.

You might try to find your local area / region site. The scca (www.scca.org) site would be a good starting point. You might as well join the SCCA if you're gonna race (if you're 16-25 SpeadFreakz membership is dirt cheap -- $25 / year for AutoX (this is me), $45/year for unrestricted) and is $60/year regularly.
