  • SCCA upgrades?

I was looking into starting SCCA and racing at a local road course. What do you guys think would be the best mods for me to get? Everyone I have talked to so far have said tires and brakes. Should I get new calipers and rotors too or just some performance brake pads? What brands do you guys recommend? Thanks! :D

What class are you looking into running in? That will determine what you can, or should do.

I'm not sure what class. I looked at the SCCA page and their street classes page is down.

Better race in stock class. So no aftermarket cat, but anything after that is permitted. Whatever comes stock on a car is permitted, so 1LE stuff should be allowed. They make changes every year so better check the rules when it's up again.
