Video-o-o-oh-my-goodness. I digitized the videos (in-car-camera) I shot at the last autocross. I ran out of tape, so I only captured 3 of the 6 runs I made. But, I had a blast, and I demand that you all watch. I've sized them to about 3 megs each. Go to www.terrapinmotorsports.tk , click on events, and scroll down to the SCCA Members Only AutoX, and click on the videos. BE SURE to watch the Seagulls one.
Stay tuned for more videos after Nov 17th, when I'll bring a videotape.
Who's bird with gold wheels and gold stripes on black paint? That looks damn nice. I also like the camaro with blackouts and the xenon kit with red stripes. Those videos are hard to watch. You need to move the camera so we can see the action and not what you are doing. Is your car an auto or stick? I want to get into autocross how do I start?
The pictures you all are talking about are likely the skyline pictures ... those cars are from various MAFBA and SLP members from the east coast, who cruised skyline.
The Camera will likely be slightly moved, though it is mounted to the roll bar and hence somewhat restricted. It was my first attempt at an in car camera, and i think it turned out well. It is a stick, and I like that the whole car shakes for about 2 seconds when i grab second ... ...
I had my folks come out one time and film me, but they did a really bad job and the video hardly caught me. So i'll work on that ... I'll try mounting the camera maybe an inch or so higher ... the Camaro is not very condusive to seeing out the front ... So enjoy the in-car shots!
