Are there any tracks in the NJ area? My car is pretty much stock, do I need to do any work on it before I start?

a stock car is fine, typically any place you go will have a classification system like in drag racing..

check out scca's website and find your local region.. give them a email/call and you will be on your way.. let them know you are new also, they will be able to help you better that way..

good luck, if you need any mroe info feal free to post it here and i will do my best to answer it..

Thanks for your help. I'm gonna go on their website now, and hopefully give them a call soon.
