... that I've skipped the past two autocrosses because my car hasn't been exactly functional. Oh well, always the last of the season. Good thing I pre-payed for the entire season. :(
Good news is that I get to run a different class (Street Mod, SM, not SM2) when I finally come back. Which, for 2003, is a .036 index jump, or about twice that as from GS to STX. For reference, the other car I've autocrossed, my 1989 Vette Convertible Auto, indexes an AS .828 (though outclassed by the 90-96 vette's with the LT1's), compared with SM's .834. Will the camaro be faster than the Convertible? Yeah, probably. Than the prepped LT1 on slicks? Yeah, right. Good thing it's fun.
