• It's aliiiiiive ... muahahah

    This is my forum ...

It's aliiiiive. After having been sitting while busy me tended to other things, I just wrapped up my installs of MAC T/A, Spec III, and turbo rebuild, etc. Put in a new battery and the car sprang to life!

Not driving it right now, because I need to string the front end, check on a possible misfire, and check on a slight banging from below. Muahahahha!

BTW, Spec III drivability was no problems for me, even after not shaking gears for several months. Good luck to everyone! Updates after this coming weekend.

Well, 125 of 500 breakin miles later ... it's running well. The clutch is seamless -- grabbing harder and harder each time, yet I can still easily manage it in forward, reverse, and around parking lots. No stalls for me ...

Turbo spins and makes pressure, though I'm not yet sure if it's making boost. BOV vents when I close the throttle, but I'll wait until the break-in miles are up before I do a classic 2nd and 3rd gear run.

And HOLY SHIIIIT! The MAC Torque Arm squeeeaaakkksss and cracks. I'm going to put a boatload of grease on it, maybe that will help. Or maybe it will get better. Oh well, probably just need to spray WD-40 on all the springs, etc.

The black hood is kinda odd looking, but a teammate (race crew) put a dodge emblem on it and it looks just classic.
