Yep I took mine to 118 a week ago for the first time. What a rush! I also was in 4th and had plenty of room left in the gear. It was very safe to as I have new tires rated well above 118 and it was around 1 am with literally KNOWONE on the well lit road. And it was even a little downhhill which made it all the more fun!
I have heard that someone dynoed their M5 with the speed limiter removed and managed something like 140 something.Comment

I know mine isn't an SS, but I know it can eat 125 up like it's nothing. I think we should've gotten 155mph speedometers and the SS's like 175 or 180speedometers.
I think my top speed is either 118 or 120. When I let off the gas and looked I was at 118, but I always add 2 since I don't look till I let off the gas.
