So I went to the track for the first time ever. it was 86 degrees and I was running with my MT ET streets.
60ft: 1.96
1/4: 14.22
mph:95.43
----- I have heads cam intake, 4.10s, posi, tune, suspension, exhaust and intake. I was launching at 4000rpm towards the end of the day cause I put the slicks at 15psi and was launching hard to get those 60fts down.
any thoughts suggestions?
SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.

NICE!! what are the spec's on the cam? thats a pretty decent 60 time considering it was the first time out. did it do what you expected? hopeing to run 13's when it cools down? looks possible, good luck with the car.

check that my 60ft was a 1.918 and my mph was 95.8.
I have the GT2 cam, it has I think 216/216 @.502 lift....like 111 or 112 LSA.
Well towards the end of the day I was launching at 4000rpm and barely hooking (I had to heat the MT slicks up realllll good) But I was happy, It seemed I squeezed every little bit of power out, are 13s even possible?

with a 1.8 or 1.7 60 foot yes they are

How do you like the GT2 cam? I'm having mine installed right now: what valve springs are you using?
Nice runs, you should be able to do better once it cools down. 13s are in the bag come fall.
BTW: it has .507 lift with stock rockers. 111 lsa

I like the GT2 cam, I love the lope it has especially with the headers I have. It pulls pretty good from about 4-redline. I think that the specs on it are a little big and I wouldnt recommend the cam unless you plan on doing a full head job and possibly getting 3.73 or 4.10 gearing.

hey, i have a 98 A4 v6 with headers and tsp exhaust, 160 thermostat, intake, just bolt-on stuff. do you know what my car would run for the 1/4 mile. i've never taken it to the track, i'm guessing like 14.7 or something.

With what you have, probably 15.2 ish. With 3.73 gears, LSD, rear suspension, sticky tires and 3000 stall you could get somewhere around 14.7 maybe even 14.6.
