....finally made it up to the track on friday. Heres some of the details:

'95 3.4 Camaro T70 10psi A4 3000stall 3.42's


Run 1
60ft = 2.1
1/4time = 13.7
1/4mph = 98.5

Run 2
60ft = 2.1
1/4time = 13.5
1/4mph = 104.5

I'll post more details once I figure out where I stuff the slips on friday. I was being easy on everything and launching from almost idle. All I did between the two runs was add fuel between 2000-4000, everything else was the same. Again I'll post more details when I get sometime.

would you benefit at all by getting bigger gears for you rear like 3.73's or 4.10's? i remember someone saying before that 3.42's are the biggest for a turbo application or something along those lines

Damn! 104.5 mph? You're trapping faster than some LS1's i've seen. What took so long to finally get the turbo on lol, haven't seen this guy post in a good while, I thought you had given up like everyone else. Matter of fact you're running around the same ET's as Linx. Nice & congrats! :)

i don't post as much now for a couple for reasons, one being i'm very tight on time and not on the computer much, the other being most of the 3.4 stuff i see on here isn't very postive, i noticed a lot of 3.4 bashing going on so rather than say anything about i'm putting the effort into making my car run faster

an update on my set up, i have a built forged cryo treated 0.020" over motor, includes everything you can think of basicly, lt1 intake set up, T70 turbo currently at 10psi cause of lack of tunning, 3000 stall pro yank TC with stage 2 trans go shift kit, fully modified suspension nothing stock left, and the list goes on and on http://www.cardomain.com/ride/288292/6 has most of the stuff listed on there

i've got all my stuff together to switch to OBD2 so in a couple of weeks, i'll be taking the car back to GMR to finally get tuned.

with what youve done so far, you have already proven plenty of people wrong about the capabilities of the 3.4. those who bash the 3.4 for the most part dont know their @$$es from a whole in the ground anyways. your car has some serious potential as it sits and will only get better with time as you work on getting it tuned. you and a few others like tiago and russel have proven that all the 3.4 needs is time and effort and patience to get things done right.

Very nice runs man. With that trap speed, you got a a 12 second car on your hands.

And I'm very interested in your project. I'm building a 3.4 as well, so its nice to see what others have done to theres and how their projects turned out. I'm doing a similar build as you in fact.. slightly smaller turbo though, maybe an AL head swap, probably reusing factory rods instead of the AL ones. But it is great to hear bout 3.4's putting down good power. Keep us posted!
