3.4 A4 vs BMW 540i....Track Video

i ran my dad in his 95 540i auto....now this was his first time ever racing at the track...i managed to get the jump on him and hold it all the way until the race was over but he was gaining fast.....i ran a 17.34 he ran a 17.46 he didnt know how to launch his car because he has never raced it before lol.. and then i ran his car at a best of 15.17 that night...but still to this day i cant figure out how some people are running 16.3-16.5 with almost stock 3.4's well heres the video.... my mods are flowmaster 80 and K&N FIPK the bmw's is a chip and exhaust.

no sorry i didnt make that clear... we switched and i was in the bmw and i ran a 15.17 in it sorry..i wish my 3.4 ran a 15.17..i cant even get it into 16's and it only has 60k on it

lol, i cant race for **** i think, or my car is really slow. I have a 94 A4 and i couldnt get into the 16's with flowmaster catback and CAI.

those "nearly stock" 3.4s...are probably M5s....i ran a 17.6 with a bad clutch bent rod, kink in the fuel line(3500 max rpm) and the raiator blown lol
