Your automatic transmission is better than his: it's well known that Ford automatics tend to have more drivetrain loss. That, along with the other conditions, makes up for the difference.

Keep in mind the verts. are add weight.

it was a 2001 mustang convertible 3.8 auto its considerably heavier then my car and its a ghetto strip it just has the light no computer stuff

so u beat an auto vert. good job they run mid high 16's dont they? want a cookie? nah j/p man a kill is a kill.

haha auto stangs (excluding 05+) suck i had a friend w/ an 04 and i would give him .5-1 second head starts, ran an auto w/ exhaust and chip and won too that was a lil closer...

A decent stock 99+3.8 5 speed would mop up his car...when he can do that, then he should start looking for the GT's.
