WOW, maybe you need to take a step back from the keyboard and breathe.

I have always joked with everyone..... IF you know me then you should be familiar with that.

I would say, since I am an old timer in the v6 world.... and you are an old timer in the v6 world, you would already know this.

I am not "cocky" as you say.... to you or to anyone (in my opinion).

I poke fun at the various turbo v6 f bodies who put down 450+ HP and are stuck in the 12's.... and say not even gods gift to driving could get those 450+ HP cars into the 11's. Jesus... if I had that power... I'd get quicker once I learn the car.

Hell, for many years I (being a nitrous guy) have ALWAYS poked fun at the blower/ turbo people... I have my standing joke of nitrous > boost

So.... I always cracked jokes...... you thought they were serious.... and now you are all pissy???

It's the internet..... get over it.
It's poking fun.... get over it.
It's the nitrous vs. boost world (in the v6 community).... get over it.

I wish you the best of luck with your car.... I'm happy with my tin can so far :)

and jame please get over the fact there is no way you could lanch my car any faster then me....... the exhuast leaks stoped spool and the brake's couldn't hold the high RPM needed as i said before just becuase your sitting in the car does not mean all that will change, you act like it will. hell you your self even had the same broblem at one point with the car rolling forward

Re: I'll be hitting the track soon.

So, are you mad about your car pulling great dyno #'s and not so great ET's and then you want to attack my car and its times?

I've been stuck in the 12's for a long time, yes I openly admit that. In my mind I have made progress in suspension, learning to drive the car, N/A times etc. Sure, deep down I want 11’s….. in my mind I should have been there a long time ago. Back in the day, when 13’s were rare and 12’s were unheard of I did pretty damn good….. so any attempts at insults regarding my car’s performance don’t really mean anything to me. I’m still near the top in quickest f bodies :)

Hell, one of those years were a wash for drag racing - I had major knee surgery.... and had an incident with the water heater setting my face on fire.

During the last year I also bought a house and got engaged.... money went into all of those areas of my life….. not into cars/ drag racing…..those things in my life are WAY more important than drag racing.

I am quite confident that someone with the skills of "John Force" could go quicker in your car. Maybe not me....... but then maybe me. I’m not saying I have the level of skills of John Force in no way, shape or form…. That would be quite a silly statement. I think you are assuming that you personally have reached the pinnacle of driving skills and no one else could go quicker in your car. That is definitely a silly thought indeed. Hell, I know if I handed the keys to my bird to someone way more experienced than me I am quite confident they could go quicker than my best times.

Humor me….. where is this hostility towards me coming from???? I haven’t been on the boards that much over the past year or two due to my life getting quite interesting in my mind. BTW, if someone “vents” about me I shall “express my concerns” back to them :)
