Fastest NA 1/4 mile time?

I was wondering how much potential the 3.8 has in being just a NA engine and for those that have built them up what is the fastest times they have ran.

then theres little G (13.5 in 1/4)

well then again, you could also take into account the full bore fbody race cars....there is one that runs low 12s consistently and another that managed to squeek out a high 11 I think. But these are purely race engines, fully gutted, standalone pcm units, all accessories removed, lightweight pieces installed, etc.

Lance has like the fastest though and he is knocking on 12s with his.

Yea I heard that 12.5 is the best ever recorded time. I ran a 14.2 NA and that is with almost every mod u can think of. Mine is in the top 25 fastest NA v6 fbody times. Thats pretty good considering there are prolly over half a million v6 fbodies out there

does anyone know whats up with Harry doolittle's motor? or is it similar to little Gs... not "that" spectacular of a motor, but an awesomely set up car.

harry dolittle is one of those full allout race cars I was talking about. Not streetable by any means (Major engine work). Little G's is streetable.

So it sounds like low 13s is what a really good NA built car could do while still being steetable.

I was getting at that I believe he was in some sort of stock something or other class. his motor was reworked I know but I don't believe it was cammed or had headwork.

Little G's car may be streetable, but his motor is not "that impressive" I mean it is very strong but its the combo of his stripped car, suspension, and gear that gets him his times. Not output of the motor(which I believe what the threadstarter is getting into)
