    what do you think the best way to run your auto f-body in the 1/4 is?
    2001 Camaro 3.8 A4

    It's going to be different for every car, and that is the end of the story...you have to find out what works best for your setup.

      That being said, my old '98 Camaro A4 with an open diff, 3.08's, an SLP airlid, free ram air mod, and some weight reduction went 15.489@86.68 MPH, with a 2.131 60'. I staged at 1500 RPMs, left the trans in "drive", and floored it when the time was right - which is one of the most important things when running at the track. Some people have this instinct right away, and others need to practice it continually until it becomes instinct.

            all 3.8s with the 3.42s should run around there right? I mean there weren't any major power changes in the 3.8 motor from '96-'02 were there?

              the throttle body angle changed in '99 i think...before then, the TB was mounted at a downward angle. In '99, they made it straight. This helps with airflow, as the air isn't disturbed by having to go around that angle.
