ok guys im looking for a project car. i was thinking i could pick up a v6 camaro 5 speed for cheap.... is it possible to get it into the 9's if so what woule it take lets say i get a 3800

Is it possible? Yes. Will it be a cheap project? No. Will it be done in one weekend? No, not even in one month.

It'll take some where around $15,000-$20k to get a 3.8 fobody into the 9's depending on what you want to do with the car. There isnt all that much for aftermarket for our cars so parts need to be custom fabricated which is very expensive.
