    roughly on your average v6 F-Body How Much Horsepower is needed to shave off one tenth of a second in the 1/4 mile?!

    i think it is 10-15
    and every 100lbs= 10hp
    i think that is what it is
    and every .1 off the 60ft = .2sec of the 1/4 time
    dont hold me on that..

      The amount of horsepower needed to drop a tenth goes up as your times improve. The good news for a V6 is it doesn't take a lot to reduce times when you're in the 15 second range.
