    No, not the bird.

    I took my beater - 2007 Mercedes E350.
    Front tire psi to 44
    Rear tire psi 28
    268 HP
    258 TQ
    A7 - yes, 7 gears

My old beater (2006 Mercedes E350) clicked off a best of:
    ET - 14.386
    MPH - 96.51
    60 FT - 2.103
That was done in nice and COLD night time March weather

The 2007 runs on 245/ 40 R18 front and 265/ 35 R18's rear and has more options than the 2006 so it is heavier and more rolling resistence.

    My 2006 E350 had weeney 225/ 55 R16's

So - 76 degrees for most of the day..... the car said mid 80's at times.

Ignore Run #6..... I was playing with my camera and recording the run from in the car.... and making sure than my buddy would win so he would have enough wins to enter King of the Hill. Run #'s 3-6 were for the event.... if you won 4 for 4 rounds then you would enter King of the Hill..... my buddy was 3 for 3... and I wanted to make sure he won so I scrubbed the R/T.

On a whole..... this old fart who hasn't raced much this year still has the skillzzzz with the R/T's.

Heat was a big factor for slower ET's.

Also.... between rounds I had the car idling w/ the A/C on so I kept cool :) This is something I have NEVER done at the track!

    Race weight was 3988 lbs!

Dayyyyyum! I have NEVER raced such a heavy car!

With cooler weather my 2007 is quicker than my 2006.... I am very sure of that. I was 0.2 tenths slower and down almost 2 mph.... damn heat!

I did come home with a trophy though.

I may race next Saturday.... not in the bird... I won't have the needed parts by then. I am not sure if I will have the benz or maybe try my luck on another car.

    In addition..... I brought a couple co-workers w/ me w/ their cars.
    2006 E320CDI - yup, inline 6 cyl deisel w/ 5 speed.
First time racer clocked 15.0 at 93?
The 2007 E320CDI now has a v6 engine w/ 7 speed and more HP and TQ.

If I drove that car it would have given my 2007 E350 a run for it's money.

MrJuice brought his 2007 CLK550 Cab - 13.3 on the brakes His car kept on going quicker and quicker..... but since this was a bracket racing event.... he kept on having to hit the brakes at the end so he would not break out.

It is an expected 12 second car.
