you guys crack me up. ITS CAM ONLY. go to any v8 board and look around its the same way. why would throw a cam into a stock car without the supporting mods needed?
like i said before shawn good job, i saw that you decided to not go FI yet and stay N/A for a while. good choice imo that car has more in it stilll!
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
Thanks alot for the support, I guess I wasnt aware you were lurking around on the other board (since you know my plans) ;)
I plan on taking it to 12s "CAM ONLY" :P with 4.56 gears instead of my 4.10s and chrome moly suspension parts as well as other weight reduction.
At the same time I will be trying to go 11.999 on nitrous (went 12.5 on an an 80 shot and will be jetting it for 125...that and weight reduction and I should be good to go)
Then I have a huge blower/nitrous cam to go on it and we'll go from there.
lol yeah i lurk. id post more if there wasnt such negativity towards this site. thats the one thing that turns me off to over there. but to each their own.
what are you planning as far as the wieght redux? you could just fly james down there and let him go at it for a day! the bird would wiegh about 13lbs by time he was done with it
your car is a 5speed isnt it?
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
No, its an auto with a 3500 converter...I'd go 4,000 but thats too loose for the nitrous.
I'm good friends with 02pewtersix whose car is well under 3000 pounds right now...he can help me get some weight out :) I plan on removing bumper supports and all sound deadening material this week (I already have rear seats and front swaybar and random heatshielding off). While its my daily driver I can't get TOO crazy, but I'd like to get to a solid 3200 on the street and 3100 at the track (no exhaust and no passenger seat)
For what its worth, I'd like to see you posting over there once in a while...I havent even seen this site brought up in MONTHS over there.
just give up arguing... People still get all over my nuts about my car... and my 14.4 I say free modded and no money spent and people assume I was stock then yell at me that my car was not stock.
Just seems like people look for things to argue about... well I guess that is true because I have been guilty of it to...
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
