  • Finally!!

    I finally got to the track. I only got 2 ruuns off though. The first run, I had thought I pulled too far forward and was getting ready to back up some when the lights came on. So, I was caught unexpected and didn't do too good on my reaction. The 2nd one, I did alot better, but could still have done better. This was my very first time ever to a track, and I thought I did pretty good.

    And a Video of me racing (this is the 2nd run, where I ran a 15.402). You just have to ignore my dad, he wouldn't be quiet.....


    This is all in a 97 3.8 Camaro with a Moroso LT1 CAI, Magnaflow Cat-Back, and aluminum DS.

    Next mods will be 3.73's, LSD, and !bad-driver

    And I thought I was gonna get whipped by that GT, but with my bad reaction time and all, he beat me by only 1-2 links.

    nice times! the lsd and gear should help out alot once you get used to it.

    current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

      yep. That and practice is what I need. Then I get my turbo :banana:

      Everyone I knew expected me to run mid 16's (one friend even said 17's), so I impressed them all. I didn't expect a 15.4 for my 2nd run.

        the stang driver musta sucked then. that looks like a mach1 to me. those should be good for mid 13s.

          Ya, I could have sworn he was going to kill me, and then he barely beat me. That boosted my confidence for my next run :D

              well they are 400hp awd trucks. i believe the come with 4.10s in the rear also.

              current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

                  nice times, trap speed is real good in the second run, knock that 60' down a bit and your'll be golden. impressive for the first time out, good job.

                    yeah, it still has more. I ran 15.2 at 89 with a 2.1 60'.

                        check the sticker on the driver's door, open the door and just on the inside where the door meets the frame, there should be a service RPO sticker or something. Look for GU4.

                          My stickers have been pulled off. It's the stock gearing and open diffy. The stock should be 3.23 for a 97 3.8 5-speed non Y-87
