    R/T: .51
    60 FT: 1.85
    1/8: 8.73 @ 77.61
    1/4: 13.58 @ 98.24

previous best was a 13.8 @ 97. these times are will the new 3500 stall converter and DRs. i was only pulling about 6 pounds of boost, and that number should be closer to 8-9, so i think i should still be able to pull it down some more with a smaller belt that i can tighten down more so it wont slip. either way, its a new best!

                Re: new times..

Wow nice time!! You beat John_D's 13.6. Now you need to beat Ironman's 13.3. It looks like 12 sec. is possible.

I notice you had a question in FI section about tensioner.

What size pulley are you using? Is it the same one.

If it is then 103 is probably as small as you can go. One trick you can do is to let the tensioner loose so there so tension on the belt. Leave it like that for a day or two. The belt will contort back to its shape.

Then using a .75" thick ply wood by 1' 3" in length, place the end at the small pulley cylinder and the other end at your shoulder. Lean into with your weight. While at the same time both of your hands are pulling at the belt towards you.

Becareful though, Greenglow took my advice on this. The belt was so tight that it ruin his alternator and snap the belt itself. This is probably a good idea for race but for normal driving leave an inch play on the belt so there's not much lateral stress on your accessories.

thanks for the advice thor. its a 2.8" pulley with a 103" belt. i know i can go a little bit smaller, there is room. my pulley sits about halfway down the tensioner right now.

                      Nice Dave!

Was this on your 18" wheels or do you have the old stockers for the track?
