This weekend was awesome in Sealy. Air was 1400-1500' OA which equates to around 500-1000' DA. The car was completely different there. It sounded different and pulled like it did with the nitrous out here, but w/o it.
First pass, I was the first car down the left lane and I added some fuel thinking it would be lean in this air. The WB showed 11.3 AFR on average which is way off. Besides that too, the car spun on the initial hit and only went a 1.80 60' and a 12.81@106.4, 8.19 1/8th. I leaned it out and the next pass, w/the AFR at 12.3-12.5 range, it ran a 12.59@106.4, 1.68 60', 8.00@84.8 1/8th. A few more adjustments and I got it down to this:
60: 1.651
330: 5.031
1/8: 7.915
mph: 85.37
1/4: 12.486
mph: 106.89
My best MPH was 107.0 but it wouldn't rev past 6600, its either weak valve springs or the lifters. I was on a unwanted rev limiter for the last 150ish feet. If it would have run out the back I'm sure it would have crossed around 6800rpms. Either way, I'm extremely happy with the results and hope to get to run down there more often!
