Heh I wasnt directly replying to you...just spitting off the information for the others because they seem to not realize MPHs effect on a car since they were all shouting off about 80s being so low.

when you say "tune" is a texasspeed tune good enough and what do i need to tell them to do or do i need to find a chassi dyno and have it tuned?

I am not saying its crazy low, I forgot what was common for our cars(I go by what my car was doing, and I pretty much never see other v6s at the track)

I thought a bolt on 3.8L even an auto is in the 89-low 90s mph wise. I also know mph does not equal ETs...

Since wel,l all of our cars are "older" I always like to reccomend the car is runnign good. I have seen it before... People will have like $1k in intake and exhaust mods, and still be running stock plugs/wires with like 60k on them. heck something like when I changed my PCV, a 2 dollar part I felt alot better throttle response.

        Just a suggestion.

You're right, a bolton auto will trap in the low 90s. He has a flowmaster exhaust and stock gearing...thats not exactly a bolton car :P I mean it is...but its far from havnig many power mods.

I try to keep these in mind when I modify my car:

There's a 99% chance it's not as fast as you hope it will be.

Any given modification will probably not yield you as much as you'd hoped for.

There's really no point making comparisons to what other people's cars do, especially if they live in a different part of the country.
