you'll need more than that. 3.4s have fits getting out of the 16s- high 15s.

alot will depend on the condition of the motor. if i had to guess you'd be low 16s. keeping the stereo crap is only going to kill your times more. you have to figure you have 150 (maybe more) lbs worth of excess weight sitting there.

i see no suspension mentioned, you'll need that.

        Re: looking for a 15.5

I would guess that you need headers and practice and you could get 15.5s

You wont need to worry much about suspension on a 15second car, you arent going to be doing blistering launches that require hard planting of the rear.

Take as much weight out as you can and see what you can do.

A LOT will come with practice, so dont expect the best your first time out.

ditch the stereo equipment, get headers, and practice

Definitely take out the audio crap, and take out your spare tire and jack, also take out whatever you can, rear seat, passenger seat, etc, lol

And you may be able to hit a 15.5 after a few practice passes..

Oh nice...if you race in similar weather conditions you'll easily do 15s.
16.3 for a stock 3.4 is pretty damn good

But if it doesnt run as quick as you want it to just remember...density altitude plays a HUGE role, so if the DA is higher on a given day you will run much slower.

                  Re: looking for a 15.5

i know everyone thinks that 3.4's are slow as dog shat (auto's yes) but for what they are with all the bolt on's the manuals move pretty well i mean ive been in nova's that do 8.60's on pump gas and radials but dont underestimate the 3.4, i just got done putting in my 3.42 rear, catco 3" hiflow, borla 3" catback, LPE Aluminum DS, walbro 225, and my FIPK and that little 60 degree moves pretty damn good so i will post times once i get to the track this spring but i think 15.5's are easily atainable, Black95 launching at the track vs the street is a world of a difference so dont be afraid to bring the revs up to launch it will bite let us know your short times and et once you get to the track, good luck

                    I love the 3.4s.
I was at the track when Jordan got the n/a record of 15.0 (which it had a LOT more left in it, but it wasnt raced after that due to an accident and him getting his LS1). That was done with stock gears and a little cam in his M5...it easily couldve gone high 14s.

3.4s can be made to move...just takes some gettin after it :)

Just because something is supposed to do low 15s doesnt mean that your car does low 15s just because you beat it...there are lots of factors.
