  • FINALLY made it to the track!

Me, my dad, Flyfrito_SS and a guy on the "other" board all went together. Its only an 1/8 mile track, but its the best we have locally (me and a few others are heading to a 1/4 track in 2 weeks though). Track prep wasnt the greatest, especially toward the end of the night. Once all the big boys left, they didnt even VHT the track anymore . My times got slower as the night went on because traction got worse and worse.

Im not exactly pleased with my times, but there were multiple GTO's, LS1 Fbodies and new Mustangs running mid-high 9's CONSISTANTLY so I dont feel too bad. Car ran awesome and didnt blow up this time :D

I spun off line on every run, I need DR's soooooo bad.

For those who are curiious, DA is 1000ft, 95% humidity, 63*

    Run 1:
    60'....2.319 <---Personal Best
    1/8....9.251<----- PB
    MPH...78.36<----PB

That was against some chick in a 99-04 GT Mustang with exhaust, I SMOKED her.

Run 2: (Vid at the bottom)
    60'....2.353
    1/8....9.27
    MPH...76.75

That was against another 99-04 GT, smoked him too.

    Run 3:
    60'.....2.374
    1/8....9.377
    MPH...77.17

    Run 4:
    60'...2.394
    1/8....9.709
    MPH...76.50

    Run 5:
    60'...2.437
    1/8....9.620
    MPH...76.71

Look for my mods in my Cardomain for FQuick page. This was on a full 100 shot, no progressive controller BTW and some weight ruduction:

    !spare tire/jack
    !rear seats
    2 gallons of gas

Here is a video of run 2. The quality SUCKS, it was from my digi camera, but its the best I could do.

14's wont be an accomplishment because the car has so much more in it. When it gets some tires on it then it'll be tearing up the track. :D

Re: FINALLY made it to the track!

                        My best three runs were:

                        3.
                        R/T- .478
                        60'- 2.466
                        330- 6.886
                        1/8- 10.488
                        MPH- 69.01

                        2.
                        R/T- .595
                        60'- 2.449
                        330- 6.831
                        1/8- 10.418
                        MPH- 69.17

                        1. (First run of the night)
                        R/T- .736
                        60'- 2.451
                        330- 6.775
                        1/8- 10.327
                        MPH- 67.97

Towards the end of the night I was spinning, so that was getting kind of lame. I think it will help A LOT when I get in my LSD and gears......damn that whole no money thing.
