I dont know the elevation of redoak, but stock 1/8th times can be anywhere from mid 9s to mid 10s

Go on night (or day) when they have Street Legal Drags or Test 'n Tune (TnT). That way racing isnt an issue, it doesnt matter what you line up against, just run it and collect the time slip.

i dont know about your track, but mostly you go and run your car and dont care who's next to you, its not like you went there to race teh guy next to you.

You are in Texas!!! There are 986786463 tracks out there. Make a thread in the Southwest section and find another track, preferably a 1/4 mile track.

10.0 is probably a good median number for stockers. Run it and see, anywhere close to that is normal. High-10s is slow.
