I have gone 173 in my V6 in a school zone while drunk and high on meth and a dead prostitute in the trunk.
\'97 Camaro M5 Y87 3.23 LSD, homebrew CAI, highfloCat, Flowmaster catback, Pacesetter headers, specstage3 clutch and aluminum flywheel, !egr, 2kW system.

Possible L67 bottom end w/ abbott heads and a turbo in the works... gotta do more homework
I starved her to death and only fed her drugs to keep her alive. Weight redux  and hey, added weight above the rear wheels = traction :)

i had the top down and i only had my foot half way down.
i have a log of it.. let's see..
i was at 4196RPM when i hit 135mph at 53% throttle with 26 degrees of timing. my speedometer reads a little slow at high speeds, so it was most likely closer to 140mph.
i've since bumped the timing up to 32 degrees at that spot (4000-4400RPM and .52 g/cyl).
there was a crosswind that could really be felt with the top up.
at that speed with the top down, you couldn't feel the crosswind and the car felt GLUED to to the ground like i had 20 passengers. the wind noise was kind of painful though. i had ringing in my ears for the rest of the night.
there were no cars on the road, so i took advantage of that. i didn't try to hit the top speed of the car because i didn't think it was the safest time and place.
i might try for a little more speed next week as i have a long night drive planned... thing is, do you trust your tires that much? blowouts do happen.

Yea a blowout would suck, but then again its something completely out of your control.. like being struck by a meteor really...
I happen to have a Windstop for my car that does an amazing job of killing wind noise in the cabin, i'd suggest picking on up. Got mine on ebay for $120 bucks, and it was well worth it... infact if i decide to sell my car you can have it for like 80 bucks if you want :naughty:
