Why do you want to increase your 1/4 times?

              Re: Finding parts

i want to increase my 1/4 mile times because i belive my car is very underestimated so i would like to run high 14's because where i live out of all the cars in my town that would be considered one of the faster cars....does anyone with a 96 camaro know where to get a chip for our cars?

Chips are for eating, not your car. Seriously, if you want high 14's, you're gonna need a full intake and exhaust.

Ha...if high 14s makes you fast in your area, I should move there...I'd be king

everything you are looking for are not made by anyone for your car or don't gain you anything. Read the stickies in the gen tech section and such to get ideas of parts.

I'm going to be very, very nice today and answer all of your questions here, instead of telling you to search since they've been asked a million times

Doesn't matter what type you should get, they're all the same. If you already have a cold air intake, then you're fine. Congrats on having headers, high flow cat, and a wide-diameter catback piping with a performance muffler, because that is having a "full exhaust," which i highly doubt is the case since you've only been able to run a 15.8. On that note, please post the entire timeslip of that 15.8 pass. A whisperlid would not work on your car, so it doesn't matter comparing the two.

                          Re: Finding parts

with an intake, headers and a muffler you realllllly shoul be able to run better than a 15.8

i kno of people who have run 15.3 on a BONE stock 3.8

all depends on where he lives to...i ran a 15.4 stock which is normal...look around the forums and c what people r running...and not being able to find the info on here through searching is BS

you need to post the entire timeslip so we can figure out exactly what your car needs. What you're doing now is the equivalent of walking into a doctor's office and saying "Something hurts. Give me a perscription"
