  • how do I get to the 13s

    does any one about what it takes to get to the 13s. i know a cam but which one, and a limited slip diff. but i still dont feel that i would be there with those.

    no u wouldnt be in the 13 range with just those mods u listed...ide say cam,cai,headers,hi-flow cat and cat back,and turbo/supercharger/nitros...with those it should run 13's but its gonna cost u to get there

      look at my profile all i need outta that is the cam and rewire the nitrous kit i have, and it is set for 75hp.

        so about how much fly hp u got all together? a lt1 has about 295-305 and they run 14's stock so ude have to have at least bout 310 or more to run a 13

          god you are the worst advice giver ever dude.

          depending on the cam, you should run low/mid 14s. with nitrous you'll be in the 13s no prob.

          intake,headers,catback,driveshaft,lsd,gears(depend ing on what your stock ones are) good tire, along with the nitrous and cam and supporting peices to the cam and of course a good tune and you should be mid 13s.

            just fyi, my car dyno's around 250ish rwhp(lt1) thru an a4 and ive hit 13s numerous times. so once again you are wrong.

                    okay, 275hp and 285hp depending on the year. ws6's had "305" and yet dyno barely higher than a t/a or z28.

                    but what do i know about lt1s :rolleyes:

                      as for cams...

                      theres alot of cams out there now. post up in the advanced tech section. when you post, make sure you give your mod list, and what you want from the car. it'll help everyone help you :)

                        my dad ****ing had a z28 lt1...i know bout lt1's i read about'em all the time...anyways they run 14's at that hp u listed and ls1's run 13's with 305-325hp so u get the v6 in that hp range and he should run 13's, whats so wrong with that advice huh?

                          well lets see, it doesnt take 305-325hp to run a 13. as i said, ive done it and im no where close to 305 hp flywheel letalone to the ground.

                          v6s are lighter than the v8 cars, there for it takes less power to get there. now granted its not much lighter, but it is.

                          a stalled/geared v6 with full boltons, some wieght redux,suspension and dr's can do high 13s and they'll be no where near 300hp.

                          and big ****ing deal, your dad had one. you've already shown in the past your reading skills need a touch up.

                          i OWN ONE. I HAVE A STACK OF 13 second slips from a STOCK lt1.
