dont forget that LS1's were underrated, they put down close to 300 horse on dynos stock

and you could have 500hp, but if you bolt bike tires on your car, youre not going to run very quick are you? there is so much more to 1/4 mile times than horsepower, weight, gears, suspension, tires all play large parts in dropping your time

Cam with suppporting mods such as exhaust, cat, headers, intake, TUNE, good rear end, good driveshaft, etc

So what's the point of spending thousands of dollars on heads/cam, but only using about half of the money and time you invested? You're selling yourself and your car short if you just get a mid-13 second timeslip then call it quits with that type of mods on your car

on a more serious not i am gonna get some lcas and relocating brackets next month. just so happens there was a question about lcas in the chasis forum something about binding in the umi ones but not in j&m and for like ten bucks more why risk it. apperciate all the advice i will also be looking into getting a lsd, in case yall didnt know you can get them outta 90-92 camaro as well as 93-02. checked it to day they have same part no and everything.

To the OP. There is enough info in this thread to get you into the 13's. Your cheapest route is nitrous instead of a stall/heads/cam. But its up to you. Keep us updated on your project. If you do decide to do nitrous, post up in the Nitrous section and we'll help ya out. :)
