Re: First time at the track and man am i depressed
The car is already tuned. I said that back on post number 38. I am just waiting to get back to the track now. The tune was done with HP Tuners buy a hardcore GM guy i know. We ended up pulling it about 9 times on the dyno.

here's the dyno sheet again.
Its not coming up for me, what kind of power were you making on the dyno?
Re: First time at the track and man am i depressed
The fact that you were only trapping 80ish mph tells me you must've had some SERIOUS kr or something along the way. That is incredibly low mph even for a stock car.
You should be trapping atleast 10mph quicker than that (being an auto)
MPH is essentially how much power your cars making...
Re: First time at the track and man am i depressed
Ok this time i swear i am going back to the track. I am headed back on the
16th with my fiance and a couple friends. I am so looking forward to this i have been waiting forever to go back. Only five days to go. One of my buddies that is going has an 86 camaro that he wants to run, i am looking forward to seeing it go down the track.
Re: First time at the track and man am i depressed
Just got back from the track. New times are as follows
First pass
R/T............ .382
60'............. 2.890
330............ 8.374
1/8............. 12.321
MPH............ 65.60
1000........... 15.450
1/4............. 18.058
MPH............ 86.20
The first pass i spun a for about half of the first 60 feet had to let off and then get back on it.
Second pass
R/T............ .646
60'............. 2.197
330............ 6.306
1/8............. 9.967
MPH............ 72.98
1000........... 12.618
1/4............. 15.130
MPH............ 89.24
This pass i didn't get the rpms up high enough before the green. That and the guy was waving at me to put on my seatbelt so i wasn't paying close attention to the car.
Third pass
R/T............ .417
60'............. 2.263
330............ 6.427
1/8............. 9.872
MPH............ 71.81
1000........... 12.818
1/4............. 15.345
MPH............ 88.61
and on this pass i apperently did not do a good enough of a burn out in the box, cuz when i launched i had some tire spin.
And that was all i got in. Kinda depressed i couldn't get anymore runs in but i had to go home and do some things around the house. Let me know what you guys think. I figure i can get in to the 14's no problem, i just have to get the launch down tight.
Oh ya and the last pass was agianst a freind of mine with a stock WRX That only had an exhaust. That was kool, i loved that one it was neck and neck all the way down. Oh ya and i won! HA HA HA HA HA
Re: First time at the track and man am i depressed
Wow, those numbers don't sound right. I ran a 15.4 on a stock engine with exhaust and intake only on 3.42 gears, 18" wheels and 300 plus lbs. of stereo equipment. Can't wait to take it to the track on the supercharger and minus the stereo equipment.
