    SLP loudmouth cat back
    Hotchkis pan hard rod
Stock air box removed for conical k&n air filter

    FYI:
2 out of 4 O2 sensors crapped out per OBD2 scanner - they are pegged in the rich area

    DA was 2450
It was DAMN HOT!!!!! 90's plus????

It was too damn hot to get good ET's.... plus it is first time with the car.... I also need to change the O2 sensors because the car runs pig rich. I'll take it back to the track once the temp's are MUCH cooler and the O2 sensors are changed

Last run was the eliminations in the vent - there was a very long bit of down time from run #4 and #5 and the car was sitting at 165 at the beginning of run #5 - all other runs the temp was siting at 210. I dialed in at 14.60 - wizzed passed the other guy.... let off and still broke out. I figure if I kept in it that was a 14.3

I went to one of those online D/A calculators and it figures density dltitude and corrects ET and Trap Speed for sea level.... corrected it came out to 14.0 at 100.37. Soooooooo, once things get cooler and I finish the tune up.... we are shooting for 13's!

Re: New times in the T/A

when did you get a t/a?! how did i miss that?

nice times considering its the first time with the car.

get those o2's changed and tell us how it runs.

gotta change those rear gears out, their fine for cruising but if this is going to be a track only car like the old bird.... what do you have in the v6 bird? rear end swap possible?

dont you have skinnes and dr's from the v6 you could have used?

is this going to be an all out drag car?

    congrats on getting another bird!

Re: New times in the T/A

I picked up the T/A a couple of weeks ago.

I needed another f body to hold me over until I can build a drag v6 again.

I'm not gonna swap the v6 rear in because it has a locker differential and 4:10's.

I think the max gear I will put in it is 3:73's.

The car doesn't need drag radials at this time..... it is slow.... too slow. I don't plan on putting skinnies or drag radials on this car.... it is to be a legit daily driver.... run on street tires. With the right suspension, I won't need drag radials. I am only expecting mid 13's out of the car.

ohh got ya, i was assuming this was going to be the new drag car. i misunderstood, good luck with the car. lt1's sound very nice, nice change from the buzzing the 6 makes.

It sounds on a very day the V6 did better for you.

Ofcourse, once you sort through the bugs that V8 will be more impressive.
