As everyone else said, your 60' is crap. Your car is hooking, you say, but the power just isn't there. And your MPH tells me that much. Every 14 second pass I made, I was at 72 at the 1/8th and 90+ ath the 1/4.

Like I say in every post in this section. Weight reduction. Take out the old algebra book, the 20lbs of change in your counsel, the 15lbs of junk in your glove box. Many people over look these areas and can possibly pick up a tenth or two just from cleaning the crap out of their cars.

Car usually stays spotless...Headers, exhaust (cat back)...the cai is not cold air its a short ram air...meaning its a pipe from the TB to where the old filter is 3-3.5 inches round with a filter...The tunning was done by PCM4less on a 97 computer that I swapped in...then last but not least the alum driveshaft, and underdrive pulley...I just think I should have run higher times given what I have done....Like I said I believe I am bogging...too much traction at the start...I have a post in the suspension section currently regarding this...I believe if I can solve this problem it will change alot....then I can go from there...but any other mods at this point I believe to be useless until I can solve this problem.

I believe in making the most of the mods you currently have, before adding more stuff...When you have tweaked it to get max effieciency then move on to the next item...

I didn't bother to read the whole thread, but unless you have limited slip and at least decent tires, every other mod will be pointless. No sense in even changing gears, it'll just create a smoke show.

if youre getting too much traction, try adding some pressure to the tires and working on how hard you launch, maybe come out of the hole a bit slower then get into it. ive had to do that a few times at the track because it was gripping so well id bog.

current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

I was thinking exactly like that as well...but on top of that I was also thinking of LCA relocation brackets and subframe connectors...but Im still trying to find out if these will help or hurt me, since my problem is the opposite of most...I have too much traction...without LSD lol
