    Jeez, relax people. Ain't nobody breaking that 9/8ish second record anyway. Anyhow, SSMS, I'm looking into the whole 97' PCM swap with HP tuners. But I don't think it's going to be that easy. Is there anyone on here that has done it that I can contact? No wideband either, at least, yet. I'd better do that soon. Thanks Blown00 and everyone else. :)

        they are direct swaps all PCM pinouts are the same

            Shirl, when you did yor 11.8 pass that was with the stock converter wasn't? What converter are you runnning now? I'll send you a email about some info on the 97' pcm, so look for a email here shortly.

              Ok, cool thanks a lot! :tup: Yeah, I run the stock converter. (I've tried a couple of aftermarket converters in the past, but had some issues.) Looking forward to that info. :)

                I thought it was a 5 spd?

                  nope its a A4. linxs is the only one i know with a manual.

                    yes the 97 swap is a direct swap, I have done it with two 96 cars already for some local people. Not a big deal at all. plug and play

                      Glad to hear your back out Shirl, As far as your PCM question, I have done the 97 PCM swap on my conv. with a HP tuners tune. No problems

                          with a turbo or supercharger, he is the only one that I know of.
