Went to the track on Sunday

Saw lots of nice cars and got 2 passes in. First pass was real bad. Didn't bother with nitrous. Ran 14.1 @ 104 mph on that one. Second run I lowered the fuel pressure and used a 50 shot. Launch was still bad 2.0 60' but the ET was real decent. 12.60@111 mph. That was it... only 2 runs. I was real nervous about upping the shot on the second run because this is my first time back in almost 4 years and I don't want to break anything. But I'll go back in a few weeks again after I play with the a/f ratio somemore. That seems to help since my car is running very rich. I REALLLLLY need a TUNE!! This was on street tires, (sold all my drag stuff) so traction sucks too. :(

Yep. Car hasn't been run in about 4 years. Without slicks and on a 50 shot that ain't bad. ;) Elevens easily if I go back to the 100 shot with slicks. Just like before. :D Post the slip later..

Lots of wheelspin and a serious bog on the first run. It was bad. So not a 1.5 gain, because it was a 13 second run, but yeah a Supercharger will do that.

the only reason my car is down is because of a faulty head from the factory. The head was faulty out of the cast. caused a week spot.

That sucks.. that's why I always say it's hit or miss with GM. I had a 94' Camaro that was a lemon. Everything was breaking on it and I ordered it brand new. The 96', no problems... >>knock on wood>>

Good job , on street tires. I'm surpised you haven't put in a 97' pcm and tuned it with Hptuners yet. Do you have a wideband hooked up to moniter your A/F?

glad to see you back out there shirl but don't think for minute you only need 1 tenth....

in fact someone has already ran faster then me but under his circumstances of the run he don't want to post yet.
