Went to the track Fri night. Went to Orlando Speedway, and it was packed (very unusual for Test N Tune). Anyways, First run, I pull a 15.565, don't know the speed (slip say 165MPH, but that's definitely wrong :P). I'm still working on my launch, not really bothering about the rest of the race, I slipped the clutch a little bit, trying to stop the spinning. Second launch, I decided I'd hit the throttle abit harder, but still slip the clutch abit on the launch. Launch pretty nicely, just squeek the tires abit, then take off. Figured I'd go ahead and try for a decent 1/4 time with this one. Get about 1000ft mark and shift into 3rd, or so I thought. Missed 3rd, let the clutch out, push it back in and try to hit 3rd again, just to finish the race decently; still won't go into third, think ok, I'll just coast abit more then it'll go in, take my foot off the clutch and hear "thunk". Clutch was gone. I pulled to the side of the track, thinking I might have blown a hydraulic line or something, and didn't want to drag the fluid all the way down. Sit there for a few seconds waiting for the track truck to come pull me off, turn around and the next set of racers had taken off and were heading down the track!!!! Scared the piss out of me. After that, they realized I was down there and called the truck out. Got towed off the track, called up my uncle and had him drive up and get me and bring me and the car home (1 1/2 hr drive:(). Turns out I shattered the clutch, which isn't all that bad. Replaced it Saturday and was good to go that night :D.
Later that night, a Mustang caught on fire, and the announcer told everyone to applaud for him because he didn't go all the way down the track....I stopped when my car acted up, and I get the **** scared out of me!
