Mid to high 12's are common for bone stock M6 LS-1 F-bods with a good driver.. In my car club we have a bolton only M6 SS that runs mid to high 11's so it's completely not unheard of.
We must have vastly different opinions of bone stock or the word common.
I've maybe seen 1 ls1 run 12s stock...maybe, and even then I'm not totally sure it was stock
12's bone stock is highly dependant on the driver.. I've seen a stock M6 LS1 go 12.6 then I saw another go 14.2 because of different driver.. also each car runs different.. I've seen a few factory freaks.. and some factory dogs
2000 Firebird.. Whisper lid, Custom exhaust, FRA mod, MSD Coil packs, MSD wires, TCI 3000 stall verter, TSP mail order tune. No times as of yet waiting for the track to open

You should let everyone at LS1tech, LS1LT1, LS1.com and cz28 know that several people in your car club have broken the bone stock LS1 F-body record.

Maybe with some serious suspension work.. it takes a lot to get a Mustang to hook
with the stock IRS you can grab 11's with those terminators anyday of the week. dan knows what hes doing and im sure hell be hittin 11's when he gets completely used to the car. its a little different driving a cobra than a v6 camaro. regardless of how modified the camaro is.
ive seen 10's with the stock IRS. or atleast i want to say that i have.
I think I'd have to see the 12.6 bone stock car for myself to even come close to believing that, lol.
That's only a couple tenths slower than the fastest LS2 M6 corvette that has bigger tires, more horsepower, and a few hundred pounds lighter.
I suppose it's possible, but I'd think it atleast had different tires or weight reduction because I thought the bone-stock record was 12.8x
I think he was running Nitto's on stock rims if I remember correctly.. It was 12.6 or 12.7 and he grenaded the stock 10 bolt later that day.. I know he's run 11.92 at 114 with full bolt-ons( 12 bolt with 4,30's & suspension incld) on slicks & skinnies. He's going for 11.50's with just the existing boltons so I figure major weight reductions are going to happen soon

Hey just a set of tires no suspension.. is still stock.. by definition as tires are a normal wear and tear item..:-)

Whatever... tires hardly disqualify a vehicle from being stock, however they probably are the reason he grenaded the stock 10 bolt

You can't roll out on a drag radial and say your car is running stock times, lol. You can EASILY pick up .4 on a bonestock car by adding drag radials.
But regardless...if he went 12.6 on a stock car with DRs that is still a good run.
Point taken..:-)

So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
