Im in too, so far I have striped everything possible on this car and according to the weight scales at the local race tracks it wieghs in at 2896.57 without my 180 pound *** in it. I would love to see how you got to weigh that much.
how is it that light? 25 pound front clip. It is, VFN made it. Everything is cut out. Aluminuim dash door panels, lexon windows, side windows are real glass. Stock trans with 4500 stall and 410s same as my car. Heads are ported and polished, to see big power gains needs a cam. The short block, whats the details on it? Rather not say tell it hits a dyno and a race track. Not to see just what it ran how consistant is it. If it performs as we think it will we will stock the short block on hand for are customers. That 13.36 was at rock falls WI not sure altitude. located by Menomonie WI as of right now.

Thats further than I want to take my car. Factory glass will always remain in my car. As far as the front clip, I don't know how much is to be had their, our fenders are plastic so. I think a lot of weight could come out of the radiator supports and un-needed parts of the frame rails though. My car is 3200-3250lbs with me in it. I'm working on stripping un-necessary wiring, and probably do some more hacking on different parts but aroll-bar is also going in it so that will probably just offset anything I remove.
You dont know what kind of altitude this guy is running in, what gearing is inthe car, how it's setup currently....anything.
Your attitude is naive at best.
Lets see, i knew it was max effort due to weight reduction and other things already posted. He's in WI, which means good DA usually, since there is no real elevation. A swiss cheesed car just doesn't do it for me. Doolittle was going 12's with less than this guy. lol. v6 racecars!!!!1!!

Ehh different strokes for different folks, if that's what they want to do then more power to them..:D Personally I wish I had the money I spent on my V6 to put into my WS-6.. I'd be in the 10's now..lol Oh well lessons learned
2000 Firebird.. Whisper lid, Custom exhaust, FRA mod, MSD Coil packs, MSD wires, TCI 3000 stall verter, TSP mail order tune. No times as of yet waiting for the track to open
Cant run that class with this car. this has lexon windows and Fiberglass front. body cant be altered. This wheel base has also been changed to 113 1/2. Its a PRO ET car.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
