Yup I'm getting more comfortable in the car......Still not coming out on boost and have a bad problem with letting out for a second when coming off the line and letting out of the gas before crossing the line at the end. Which you can see on the logged runs. Everything looks good though. Also it's at 15psi according to the BS3 when i crossed the line.

I hate to ask something that might be rude.. but I just bought a v6 purely for racing.. seeing as I have a v6 daily driver, I have nothing to do with this other one but to go all out.. and I've dearly wanted a turbo.. but I didnt even think of 2. So the question is... How much would somethin like this cost? I gotta beat my buddy from work who is doin 12 somethins with his 93 camaro BB 350 who just cannot believe a 3800 could even do 13s. I was like.. HA! Just wait! Help me beat him! The only chance I have right now is if he red lights or breaks out. But I'd love to beat him straight up.
Setups like this done right could cost you anywhere from $6,000-$10,000 (easily) depending on what is done. Most of us have done it over a period of time (and gone broke). Next time around, I'd like to get a Vette that's already built (preferably a new one). You could get a nitrous setup for much much less but you still need to upgrade the fuel system and exhaust which will add up too. Then you'll need to think about the tranny, suspension and tires. Did I leave something out? Probably... there is more involved than meets the eye. All depends what you're looking for and how much $$ is in your pockets. I would say the cheapest route is nitrous with massive weight reduction. Still you need to upgrade other parts on the car to support the additional power.
Depending on how far you want to push the car, who you have do the work and how fussy you are about how the car looks when it is done is also a factor when doing something like this. My whole car was redone for this setup to make sure everything was set to try to push it in the low 10's poss high 9's (once on race gas), even the motor. The only thing factory left is the shell and all the interior of the car, front sway bar, and rear springs. I have a lot more money into my car then the prices Shirl posted up because of all that. I've got over 40K into my car since the project started 5 years ago and I'm not done yet.....there are a couple things we are changing over the winter and at some point I still want to get it all repainted cause the swirl marks are killing me!!

Yup that was the "Vette Fest" at McCormick in March 07 :) The car was there in the Finish Line Performance Display.
